The World Youth Hockey Championship in Division 1B started in Tallinn, where the Ukrainian national team confidently started its journey. In the first match, Ukrainian hockey players met with the hosts of the tournament – the Estonian team.
The match ended with a convincing victory of the Ukrainians with a score of 8:1. Danylo Denysenko, Rodion Koida (double), Oleksiy Yevtekhov, Nikita Kulikov (double), Ilarion Kupryanov and Mykola Kosarev stood out among the scorers.
The Ukrainian national team will play its next match on January 12 at 12:30 p.m. against the Polish team.
