“The Los Angeles County Medical Examiner said at least 11 people died in fires in Los Angeles. According to the office’s records, five of the deaths were caused by the Palisades fire, and six by Eaton,” the newspaper writes.
It is noted that the exact number of dead cannot be determined at this time until investigators are able to safely go to areas where there are downed power lines, gas leaks and other hazards.
