US President Joe Biden said that the master of the Kremlin, Vladimir Putin, is in a “difficult position” after the introduction of large-scale sanctions against Russian oil.

“Putin is in a difficult position right now, and I think it’s very important that he doesn’t have any respite to continue to do the terrible things that he continues to do,” Biden said.
He said that Ukraine has a “real chance to win” if it continues to receive the support of the West.
The day before, the USA announced new sanctions that hit the Russian oil refining industry. Russian oil giants Gazprom Neft and Surgutneftegaz, in particular, fell under the restrictions.
Subsequently, the British government announced the introduction of sanctions against the Russian companies Gazprom Neft and PJSC Surgutneftegaz.
