During the day, police officers eliminated almost fifty schemes of illegal border crossing by men of military age in 22 regions. Law enforcement officers handed over 60 suspicions.

The criminal network was exposed by investigators of the National Police, operatives of the Department of Strategic Investigations together with the State Border Service, employees of prosecutors’ offices and the Office of the Prosecutor General with the involvement of employees of the TCC and SP.
Among the detected devices are reshipment outside the checkpoints, forgery of health documents, fictitious entries in the information system “Shlyah” and others. Heads of hospitals of various levels, officials of the TCC, MSEK and VLK, as well as civilians, organized and participated in the schemes.
According to the police, the criminals were looking for potential “clients” through acquaintances and closed Telegram channels, and their “services” cost from 5 to 22 thousand dollars, depending on the chosen method of illegal border crossing.
The police noted that the participants legalized the received money through the purchase of cars and real estate, and in some cases took it offshore.
Investigators have announced 60 suspects for illegally transporting people across the state border of Ukraine. Among the suspects are both performers and organizers, in particular heads of state institutions of various levels. The actions of the participants are qualified under part. 3 Art. 332 of the Criminal Code (illegal transportation of persons across the state border of Ukraine).
Currently, the suspects face nine years in prison with confiscation of property and deprivation of the right to hold certain positions.
