English Sunderland, which plays in the Championship and claims to return to the Premier League, decided to accompany this year’s winter transfer campaign with a rather high-profile signing.

The Black Cats have been keeping an eye on Roma’s French central midfielder Enzo Le Fe, and have finally agreed on his transfer.

The 24-year-old performer went on loan until the end of the season, but the English team will have the opportunity to complete his full transfer this summer.

This will cost the club €23m and will only be possible if Sunderland do win promotion.

It will be recalled that Le Fe moved to Roma at the beginning of the current season from the French Rennes for the same 23 million euros.

Since then, the player had only ten matches (460 minutes) on his account.
