Borys Drozhak, co-founder of the Ukrainian company Rovertech, which manufactures demining drones and unmanned ground robotic platforms for the front, spoke in detail about his unique products and their capabilities.

Ukrainian in the fall of 2024 an unmanned demining machine with the impressive name Zmyi successfully passed tests on a training ground and received a certificate of conformity, as well as codification from the Ministry of Defense. This is a platform from Rovertech, a company from Lviv region that specializes in the development of ground-based robotic unmanned systems and has already released several products. In particular, it is a demining drone, as well as an unmanned armored platform Zmyi Logistics. Moreover, the military has already managed to test this robot, and by the end of 2024, the Ministry of Defense approved its use and recognized it as meeting NATO standards.

On the test areas, the platform covered 10 km with a load of 500 kg and transported three people with it, losing only 8% of the battery charge, the company says.

Such robotic platforms are becoming an important element in the work of the military. According to the General Staff, by using them, Ukraine managed to reduce losses among the military by 30%.

Borys Drozhak, co-founder of the company Rovertech, told NV about the advantages and capabilities of its Snakes.
