On Thursday, January 9, Sean Dyche officially left the post of head coach “Everton” after a series of bad results for the team.

Everton are 16th in the Premier League after 19 matches with 17 points. Dyche will be replaced by U-18 coach Leighton Baines and captain Seamus Coleman on an interim basis. The press is discussing the possible appointment of Jose Mourinho.

The reaction of the fans was as much as expected, because in the last games they openly called for Dyche to be fired. However, he was released just 3 hours before the FA Cup 1/32 final match, in which Everton was to meet Peterborough.

OB: “You made a big mistake.”

Alex: “Imagine doing that just a few hours before the game…”

Manacy: “New year, new coach.”

Leo: “Look, most of us are happy to see the end of the Sean Dyche era, but let’s thank him for his achievements in keeping Everton in the Premier League in very difficult circumstances. Although I am happy, I still wish Dych the best of luck.”

VKay: “They just fire coaches for no reason. I think he’s been pretty average, but far better than Everton at the start of the season. What do you expect from a club that finished last season in 15th place?”.

FreddieW: “It is well said that he was not thanked for what he did for our club! It will be cool to see a team under the management of Baines and Coleman, and if Cahill is also back, it will be great!

Harry Hughes: “HOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!”

Tommy: “At first I was so desperate for him to succeed, but it became clear that his tactical style just wasn’t working. It didn’t work out, but it had to be done.”

Paul Butler: “It was hard to watch under his management, but I am grateful to him for keeping us afloat when we looked dead and buried. What he had to deal with during his work cannot be underestimated. We may never even know about some things. I wish him all the best.”

Dominic Hewson: “A harsh statement. No thanks to Dych and his team. Ideally”.
