Kherson region under daily shelling: 7 people died, 55 were injured

Last day, Russian troops shelled 40 settlements in the Kherson Region. As a result of the attacks, high-rise buildings, private houses, agricultural machinery and cars were damaged. This was told by the head of the Kherson OVA, he said on the air of the telethon, reports UNN.

Three people died during the day: a man in Dnipryanskyi and two local residents in Beryslav, aged 40 and 27. During the day, according to Prokudin, the enemy struck Berislav, Dnipro and Kherson with drones and artillery. As a result, nine people were injured.

Morning attacks and new victims

Today, shelling continues. At 8:30 a.m., the Russians shelled the village of Nezlamne in the Bilozer community. The head of the OVA said that a woman died who was fatally wounded while on the street.

Also, Russian drones attacked Berislav, where two women and one man received explosive and shrapnel injuries.

The injured are under the supervision of doctors.

At 11:00 a.m., Russian aircraft struck the center of Kherson. Four guided aerial bombs hit the city. Six people were injured – two women and four men.

One of the victims was treated on the spot, the others are in hospitals.

Results

Since August of last year, in 5 months of 2024, there have been almost 12,000 UAV strikes, as a result of which 54 people died, 609 others were injured, including 8 children. This year, in these days alone, the occupiers struck 650 times with UAVs. As of now, these attacks have left seven people dead and 55 injured

The reaction of the authorities

The head of the Kherson OVA reported that the military, together with civilians, are strengthening the electronic warfare (EW) system. In 2024, units of the Defense Forces received more than 400 EW systems. However, the number of attacks is increasing, and Russian terrorists are trying to hit all the settlements along the Dnieper.

The situation with transport

Public transport between Kherson and the settlements of Dniprianske, Molodizhne and Inzhenerne has been suspended due to enemy shelling. Restoration is possible only after the stabilization of the security situation, but they cannot name the date yet.
