On Tuesday, January 8, the Verkhovna Rada adopted in the second reading the project of the law on promoting the development of volunteering among education seekers, which concerns the consolidation of the right of volunteers to recognition of competences.
People’s deputy Roman Hryschuk reported this in Telegram.
This bill was supported by 298 people’s deputies.
The purpose of the law is to adapt the legislation of Ukraine to the law of the European Union in terms of recognition of the results of volunteer activities, the development of a culture of social responsibility in society. In particular, among children and young people.

It is also indicated that each volunteer will be provided with a document certifying volunteer activity with an indication of the direction.
