In the Sumy region, a couple of Russian agents were exposed, who were engaged in collecting intelligence data on the placement of electronic warfare and air defense equipment.

This was reported in the press service of the local prosecutor’s office on January 8.

At the same time, the perpetrators, who turned out to be a 53-year-old woman and her 59-year-old husband, acted not only in Sumy, but also in Kharkiv region.

“She collected up-to-date information on the movement and locations of personnel and equipment, in particular EW and air defense equipment of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Sumy and Kharkiv regions. What’s more, after the shelling of Kharkiv Oblast, it confirmed hitting targets. Most of the information that the woman sent to the enemy, she learned from her husband,” the message reads.

It is also noted that the detainee was recruited by the special services of the aggressor country in one of the messengers.

“The woman actively supported and distributed anti-authority and pro-Russian posts on the banned social network,” added the prosecutor’s office.

The indictment against the Russian agents has already been sent to the court.

As ArmiyaInform reported, a sabotage group was detained in Khmelnytskyi region, which blew up a railway track on a local run in front of a freight train.
