They planted explosives on the tracks and detonated them when they saw a freight train approaching. However, the driver stopped the train in time, so no one was injured as a result of the explosion.
The men recorded their actions on video for reporting to the perpetrators of the crime. After committing the crime, they were going to hide. However, during the day, the police and SBU employees established their whereabouts and detained them.
Mobile phones with evidence of correspondence with the enemy were seized from them during searches. Both men face from 15 years in prison to life imprisonment with confiscation of property.
