In the 2nd round of selection, the Ukrainian will play against the representative of the Czech Republic Barbora Palitsova (WTA 179). The match will start with the 1st run on court #6. Approximate start time of the game – 01:00 Kyiv time.
This will be the third meeting of the rivals. In 2022, Daria lost to Barbora in the quarterfinals of the ITF W60 competition in Bratislava, and in 2023, she took revenge in the 1st round of the tournament of the same category in Altenkirchen.
The winner of the confrontation in the final qualification will play either against Anna Karolina Schmidlova (Slovakia, WTA 114) or against Rebecca Masarova (Switzerland, WTA 144).
At the start of the selection, Snigur passed Emilana Arango (Colombia, WTA 170) with a score of 3:6, 7:5, 6:3, and Palitsova overcame Simona Waltert (Switzerland, WTA 168) – 7:5, 7:6 (7:5 ).
