Details: Rechan emphasized that the country’s authorities are not abandoning the goal of the complete reintegration of Transnistria. However, according to him, this plan should begin with the withdrawal of Russian troops illegally stationed in the region.

“Our goal is the reintegration of the country, which should begin with Russia withdrawing its troops, which will allow us to administer the region accordingly. After all, we want a peaceful resolution of the conflict, and a peaceful resolution begins with the withdrawal of troops,” he said.
Rechan insists that the Russian military should be replaced by independent peacekeepers. The second step of reintegration, according to his plan, is “the introduction of an international peacekeeping contingent, after which we (constitutional power of the country) will start providing services,” he explained.
The Moldavian Prime Minister emphasized that until these points are fulfilled, the government will continue “remote” reintegration through the permission for Transnistrians to use the opportunities available to the rest of the citizens. “We are trying to integrate (residents) Transnistria into the structure of social services, into our business environment, into our market, so that they can export products to the EU, etc., just like the rest of Moldova. We are doing our best under conditions where we cannot ensure the work of law enforcement agencies or administration in this region,” he explained.
“But our goal is the complete and peaceful reintegration of Transnistria,” the prime minister concluded, emphasizing once again that the withdrawal of Russian troops should be the first step in this process.
Earlier, the government of Moldova stated that the energy crisis in Transnistria is part of a large-scale plan of the Russian Federation.
Moldova also summoned a Russian diplomat for lying about the energy crisis in Transnistria.
