In the Kherson region, three people were injured as a result of a drone attack – the government

Three people were injured in the Kherson region due to attacks by Russian drones in the evening and morning of January 7, according to the message of the Kherson regional state administration.

According to the local authorities, “a local resident was injured in the morning attack by a Russian UAV in Berislav.”

“A 43-year-old woman was diagnosed with an explosive injury, a contusion, and shrapnel injuries to her back and legs. She was taken to the hospital,” OVA reported.

Also, the State Administration also specified that on January 6, “around 10:00 p.m., the Russians attacked the Vesele UAV.”

“A 72-year-old woman and a 44-year-old man were hit. Due to the dropping of explosives from the drone, they received explosive injuries and thermal burns. Both were taken to the hospital in serious condition,” OVA reported.

The Russian military regularly attacks Ukrainian regions with various types of weapons – attack UAVs, rockets, anti-aircraft missiles, and anti-aircraft missiles.

The leadership of Russia denies that the Russian army during a full-scale war inflicts targeted strikes on the civilian infrastructure of the cities and villages of Ukraine, killing the civilian population and destroying hospitals, schools, kindergartens, energy and water supply facilities.

The Ukrainian authorities and international organizations qualify these strikes as war crimes by the Russian Federation and emphasize that they are purposeful in nature.
