On the night of January 7, analysts of the DeepState project reported that the Russians occupied the village of Lozova in the Izyum district of the Kharkiv region, as well as the settlements of Ivanivka and Shevchenko in Donetsk region.

Details: The DeepState message refers to a video published by the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Oleksandr Syrskyi, which shows the damage to a Russian column that was conducting assault operations 2.05 km east of Nova Kruglyakivka.
“After a certain lull, the enemy is reactivating in various areas,” the message added.
For reference: Lozova is a village in Ukraine, in the Boriv settlement community of the Izyum district of the Kharkiv region. The population is 131 people. Until 2020, the local self-government body will be the Bohuslav Village Council.
Updated: DeepState later published an updated map, adding information about two more occupied settlements.

What preceded: On Monday evening, the General Staff reported that in the Kharkiv direction, Ukrainian troops repelled three enemy attacks in the Vovchansk area.
In the Kupyansk direction, the enemy stormed defenders’ positions three times in the areas of Synkivka, Petropavlivka, and Zagryzovo.
