Russian military drones hit public transport in the Ship district of Kherson on the evening of January 6, as a result of which there were dead and wounded, the head of the city’s military administration, Roman Mrochko, reported.

“They hit a bus carrying passengers on the 3rd route. Previously, there are dead and wounded. The information is being clarified,” he said.

The head of the regional military administration, Oleksandr Prokudin, clarified that around 17:00, Russian forces attacked a minibus in the Shumen district of Kherson.

“Preliminarily, one person died, nine others were injured,” Prokudin said.

The Russian military regularly attacks Ukrainian regions with various types of weapons – attack UAVs, rockets, anti-aircraft missiles, and anti-aircraft missiles.

The leadership of Russia denies that the Russian army during a full-scale war inflicts targeted strikes on the civilian infrastructure of the cities and villages of Ukraine, killing the civilian population and destroying hospitals, schools, kindergartens, energy and water supply facilities.

The Ukrainian authorities and international organizations qualify these strikes as war crimes by the Russian Federation and emphasize that they are purposeful in nature.
