Details: Indonesia, the world’s fourth most populous country, has previously expressed its desire to join BRICS to strengthen developing countries and advance the interests of the so-called Global South.
BRICS also includes Egypt, Ethiopia, Iran, the United Arab Emirates, Russia, India, China and South Africa.
