As a result of the night shelling of the Russian forces in the Poltava region, there is damage to the energy infrastructure, according to the message of the regional military administration.

“At night, the enemy attacked Poltava Oblast. According to preliminary information, there were no hits on civilian objects or victims. There is damage to the energy infrastructure,” OVA said

As noted, as of 12:00 on January 6, “power supply was restored.”

The Russian military regularly attacks Ukrainian regions with various types of weapons – attack UAVs, rockets, anti-aircraft missiles, and anti-aircraft missiles.

In his New Year’s address, President Volodymyr Zelenskyi said that during the year during Russian air attacks, the air defense forces shot down 1,310 cruise and ballistic missiles and 7,800 Iranian Shaheds.

The leadership of Russia denies that the Russian army during a full-scale war inflicts targeted strikes on the civilian infrastructure of the cities and villages of Ukraine, killing the civilian population and destroying hospitals, schools, kindergartens, energy and water supply facilities.

Ukrainian authorities and international organizations qualify these strikes as war crimes committed by the Russian Federation and emphasize that they are targeted.
