The head of state said this in an interview with the American blogger Lex Friedman.
“I had a conversation with him (Musk – ed.) at the beginning of the war. I respect him. First, I respect self-made, I love such people. Nothing fell from the sky, man himself did something. I worked myself, I know what it’s like to earn money, to recruit talented people… and to do something important for certain people,” the president said.
Zelensky added that he does not compare himself with Musk and considers the American billionaire to be the leader of innovation in the world. According to the head of state, such people only move the world forward, so he respects his work.
At the same time, he touched on the topic of war. Zelensky expressed his gratitude to “Starlinks” and said that he would like Musk to be on the side of Ukraine as much as possible and to support our country.
“We are very grateful for Starlinks, they helped. We used them after the Russian strikes, rockets on energy, there were problems with the Internet.
