Friedman has already approached Zelenskyi with a proposal to record a three-hour conversation in Russian, “because he, Zelenskyi, and a large part of the people in Ukraine speak Russian.” Friedman added that “he is studying Ukrainian, both his parents are from Ukraine and he himself lived in Kyiv for some time.”
