The National Energy and Utilities Regulatory Commission has adopted a resolution setting tariffs for Gas Transmission System Operator of Ukraine LLC for gas transportation services for 2025-2029. The tariff for direct consumers will increase from UAH 124.16 to UAH 501.97 per 1000 cubic meters per day, excluding VAT, the National Energy and Utilities Regulatory Commission reported following a meeting on December 30, UNN reports.

Details

The Resolution, in particular, provides for setting the tariff from the “point of exit with physical location to direct consumers” at UAH 501.97 per 1000 cubic meters per day excluding VAT.

Whereas the previous resolution provided for this tariff from the “point of exit with a physical location to direct consumers” at the level of UAH 124.16 per 1000 cubic meters per day excluding VAT.

Thus, the tariff will increase by 304%, or 4 times.

“This year, in the 24th year, 85% is revenue from the transportation of gas originating from the Russian Federation. That is, 15% is what remains for us in the 24th year from domestic customers. Thus, the tariff increase is not even enough to fully compensate, but we agree, we understand that the country’s economy needs balanced and fair decisions now,” said Dmytro Lypa, CEO of the Ukrainian GTS Operator, during the meeting.
