In 2024, Ukrainian entrepreneurs issued 24,746 preferential loans for a total amount of 93.1 billion hryvnias within the framework of the state program “Affordable loans 5-7-9%”. This is reported by the Ministry of Economy. Since the launch of the “Affordable loans 5-7-9%” program in February 2020, entrepreneurs have attracted 103,700 loans for a total amount of UAH 360 billion. In the spring of 2024, after extensive changes, the initiative was refocused on investment lending, production development and the creation of products with high added value. A special emphasis is placed on the development of the processing industry, support of enterprises in war risk zones and financing of investment projects, Svyridenko notes. Lending to businesses in the military risk zone – UAH 21.8 billion. Investment loans – UAH 19.6 billion. Most often, loans are received by companies in the agricultural sector, processing industry and trade. Lviv, Dnipropetrovsk, Odesa, Kyiv, Kharkiv, Vinnytsia, Poltava oblasts and Kyiv are the leaders in terms of the volume of concluded agreements. The program is implemented with the participation of 46 banks. The largest participants in terms of the number of loans issued were Privatbank (48.2 thousand), Oschadbank (15.8 thousand) and Ukrgasbank (5.7 thousand).
