The Cabinet of Ministers allowed the reservation of clerics

The Cabinet of Ministers adopted a resolution classifying religious organizations as critical enterprises and allowing the booking of clerics at the request of the State Service for Ethnopolitics and Freedom of Conscience (DESS). According to the resolution, all conscripted clerics will be subject to reservation according to the list of positions approved by the DESS.

Reservation or cancellation of the postponement of clerics will be carried out through the “Action” portal, or by a statement in electronic form about the cancellation of the reservation of a conscript employee, which are formed by the DESS.

Clergymen will not be subject to the restriction of reservation of no more than half of the employees, but the deferment granted is subject to cancellation in the event of dismissal from the position of the clergyman at the request of DESS.

For religious organizations, the salary limit of 20,000 hryvnias is excluded for reservation purposes.

Also, the resolution classifies legal entities – religious organizations, according to the list and criteria approved by DESS, as critical for the functioning of the economy and ensuring the livelihood of the population.
