“A pathetic sight.” Experts – about Fury’s behavior in the rematch with Usyk

On the night of December 22, the Ukrainian champion Oleksandr Usyk won by unanimous decision of the judges of the British contender Tyson Fury (three times 116:112). Boxingnews24 evaluated this fight and Fury’s behavior after the results were announced:

“Fury’s fans hoped that he would use a significant size advantage to defeat Usyk. The Briton’s team thought he could do to the Ukrainian what he did to Wilder in the second fight.

The problem is, the 36-year-old Fury couldn’t do that because he’s no longer the slick, energetic fighter he was four years ago when he knocked out Deontay in four rounds. Age, weight, ill-conceived fight plan and huge financial fortune played a cruel joke on Tyson.

Therefore, in the ring it turned out that the Briton had nothing to answer Usyk. Fury, who defeated Wilder, would have been a dangerous opponent for the Ukrainian, but a lot of time has passed and everything has changed.

After the fight, Fury complained about the result, took offense and said that he should have won by three rounds. A pitiful sight. He was not even going to accept the result and congratulate the winner. At this point one wondered what Turki Al-Sheikh was thinking as he looked at what the “Gypsy King” had become.

It was previously reported that Fury’s next opponent will be ex-UFC champion Francis Ngannou.
