DBR: the court arrested the former head of the Odessa TCC. He can be released on bail of 402 million hryvnias

The court took into custody the former head of the Odesa regional territorial procurement center, the State Bureau of Investigation reported on December 26.

“The Pechersk District Court of the city of Kyiv has chosen a preventive measure in the form of detention with the alternative of providing a bail of 402 million hryvnias to the former head of the Odesa Regional TCC and JV,” the message reads.

The SBI reminds that its employees detained a former official in Kyiv the day before after he was released on bail. According to the bureau, the suspect planned to hide from the investigation and go abroad.

According to the bureau, the man was informed of the suspicion that he had issued himself an additional remuneration amounting to 165,480 hryvnias on the basis of a false decision of the official inspection and the corresponding conclusion of the MSEK.

Also within the framework of another criminal proceeding, according to the materials of the SBI, the court handed over a house with an area of ​​857 square meters worth 4 million euros and an office with an area of ​​223.9 square meters for 510 thousand euros in the Spanish resort of Marbella to the Agency for Search and Asset Management.

The DBR does not name the exhibitor, but the specified assets point to the former head of the Odesa Regional Territorial Center for Staffing and Social Support, Yevhen Borysov.

On July 24, 2023, the SBI detained the former military commissar for the first time, the court took him into custody for 60 days with the possibility of a bail of 150 million hryvnias.

Borisov did not publicly comment on the proceedings initiated against him.
