The National Agency for the Identification, Search and Management of Assets (ARMA) will appeal the decision of the High Anti-Corruption Court (HAC) regarding the ban on the sale of the seized property of ex-National Deputy Viktor Medvedchuk.

“On December 25, 2024, the Supreme Anti-Corruption Court (SCAC) issued a decision prohibiting the sale of seized property related to Viktor Medvedchuk,” the message reads.
In particular, the court based its decision on the possible risks of alienation and reduction in the value of assets, which may make it impossible to execute the court decision in the case of meeting the claims for their recovery in state income.
ARMA noted that part of the property, in particular a Maybach car, watches, paintings, ATVs and buggies, had already been sold, and the funds were directed to the state budget. In addition, a Gulfstream G650 aircraft and a Bell-427 rotorcraft were transferred to the needs of the Defense Forces of Ukraine.
The sale of Medvedchuk’s arrested yacht Royal Romance, the sale of which is expected to bring in billions of dollars to the budget, may be in question.
Previously, VAKS did not involve ARMA in the consideration of the case, although it was informed about the transfer of part of the assets for the needs of Ukraine’s defense capability, and in connection with the court’s decision, ARMA stopped all active bidding and is preparing to appeal the decision in the appeals court.
