“The reason for this was internal technical problems, in particular, the unstable operation of the site and errors in user authentication,” the message says.
To maintain trust in the process, the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine made the following decisions:
- annul the results of today’s voting;
- postpone the voting to January 7, 2025.
Voting will take place at the same time: from 09:00 to 21:00 at the link: https://rgk.vote.mod.gov.ua/.
The Ministry calls on all citizens to participate in voting.
Instead, one of the candidates for members of the Public Anti-corruption Council, a veteran and co-founder of the Democratic Ax party, Yury Gudymenko, said that the vote was “disrupted” by the Ministry of Defense.
“Despite the fact that voting was supposed to start at 9:00 a.m., some voted and publicly reported on it already at 8:00 a.m., and therefore, the elections started already ‘with ballots in the box,'” Gudymenko wrote.
The Public Anti-corruption Council will include 15 candidates who receive the largest number of votes. It is a permanent collegial consultative and advisory body of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, formed for the participation of the public in ensuring the assessment of corruption risks in the Ministry of Defense.
