The man staged a shooting at his ex’s workplace

In the Cherkasy region, a man was informed of the suspicion of shooting a traumatic weapon into the door and window of the premises at the place of work of his former common-law wife, and a preventive measure was chosen for him, the Cherkasy regional prosecutor’s office reported on Thursday, writes UNN.

As the prosecutor’s office said, “the man, on the basis of a long-term hostile relationship, being at the place of work of his former common-law wife, fired three shots from a traumatic firearm into the entrance door and window of the room where the 56-year-old woman was, and left the scene of the crime.”

“A 54-year-old resident of the city of Cherkasy was notified of suspicion of hooliganism committed with the use of firearms (Part 4 of Article 296 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine),” the prosecutor’s office reported

The investigating judge imposed a preventive measure in the form of a personal bond on the suspect.
