The Center for Countering Disinformation at the National Security Council warns Ukrainians about fake reports about alleged debts to Novaya Poshta.

This was reported by the Center for Combating Disinformation.

“Notifications to users about “indebtedness” to “Nova Poshta” are fake. “Nova Poshta” emphasizes: these letters have nothing to do with the company,” the message reads.

It is noted that the goal of fraudsters is to obtain personal data.

In this regard, the CPD urged citizens to reliably protect personal data and not to open suspicious letters and links.

Earlier in Ukraine, the police together with the Czech law enforcement officers exposed and liquidated a criminal organization that robbed citizens with the help of “vishing” and “spoofing” – types of telephone fraud. In total, criminals embezzled more than $2.5 million.

Fraudsters in Ukraine also invented a new scheme to deceive Ukrainians. It is related to the so-called “recovery” of funds through the court.
