The International Federation of Football History and Statistics IFFHS presented the ranking of the best referees based on the results of 2024.

The best was the Frenchman Francois Letexier, who refereed several Champions League matches and the Euro 2024 final this year.

The second place in the rating was taken by Slavko Vincic from Slovenia, and the top three was completed by the Spaniard Daniele Orsato.

Englishwoman Rebecca Welch was recognized as the best referee among women, ahead of Frenchwoman Stephanie Frappard and Swedish Tess Olofsson.
