Ukraine has received the second tranche of €150 million from the EU under the Rapid Recovery Agreement, which is expected to be used to feed schoolchildren, rebuild infrastructure and support agriculture, Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal said on Telegram on Wednesday, UNN reports.

“Ukraine has received 150 million euros from the European Union. The funds will be used to provide free meals for children in grades 1-4, restore infrastructure, and support the uninterrupted production of agricultural products,” Shmyhal wrote.

According to him, this is the second tranche under the Agreement between Ukraine and the EU to support rapid recovery, which provides for the disbursement of EUR 300 million to our country.

He thanked the EU countries and institutions for “important support for the reconstruction of our country, assistance to business and for providing comfortable living conditions for Ukrainians.
