Chernivtsi increased their chances to receive the quarter-finals of the Cup of Ukraine

As Sport.ua learned, FC “Bukovyna» received an official letter from the UAF Stadium and Safety Committee, whose representatives inspected the stadium in Chernivtsi a few weeks ago, where the quarterfinals of the Ukrainian Football Cup are scheduled to be held on April 2, 2025.

“There are quite significant remarks, but there is still enough time to get rid of all the shortcomings by March 1, 2025, when the commission from Kyiv comes again,” commented the director of FC “Bukovyna” Igor Nabolotny. – In particular, we should equip all the necessary places for journalists so that they have the opportunity to quickly transmit information, and we will also make sure that the courtroom is more comfortable.

By the way, the VAR system is not mandatory for the quarter-final cup matches, so for now we will do without installing additional equipment. Although, of course, if “Bukovyna” aims to play in the Ukrainian Premier League, then efforts must be made to ensure that the stadium in Chernivtsi meets today’s requirements as soon as possible. There is no time for swinging.

For now, we have taken up the specification of the work plan for the next two months at the stadium and hope that on April 2 we will be able to host the cup quarter-final in Chernivtsi: “Bukovyna” – “Viktoria”, – said Nabolotny.

Earlier it was reported that the UAF Commission had already visited the Bukovyna stadium.
