Due to the Russian missile attack carried out this morning on the objects of the Ukrainian energy infrastructure, there will be hourly power outages in Ukraine until the end of the day on December 25, the National Energy Company “Ukrenergo” reported.

“You can familiarize yourself with the schedules of the forced application of restrictions in your region on the website and official pages of oblenergo in social networks. Please do not turn on several powerful electrical appliances at the same time when the lights appear on schedule,” the company writes.

According to Ukrenergo, emergency restoration work is ongoing at all facilities where the security situation allows. “Energy workers are doing everything possible to restore the operation of damaged equipment as soon as possible,” the message reads.

During the night and morning of December 25, Ukraine was subjected to a massive air attack by the Russian Federation. Throughout the night, many regions were alarmed by attack drones launched by the Russian military, and in the morning, missiles of various types flew across Ukraine.

In connection with this attack, “consumption restriction measures have been applied” in Ukraine, the National Energy Company “Ukrenergo” reported on the morning of January 25.
