The weather in Ukraine during the second half of the month will be characterized by difficult weather conditions with ice, sleet, wet snow and a change in air temperature, which in some places will drop to severe frost.

On Thursday, December 26, unstable weather with rain and sleet is expected at night in southwestern Ukraine, moderate snow in the Carpathians. In the afternoon, snow and sleet are expected in the eastern regions. There is ice on the roads in places in the country, except for the central and southern regions. The wind is northeast, 7 — 12 m/s, in the southern half there are gusts in places, 15 — 20 m/s. Night air temperature -2+3 degrees, daytime -1+4 degrees, in the south +5+10 degrees.

On Friday, December 27, precipitation mainly in the form of snow and sleet is expected in the southern, central and eastern regions, in the Crimea with rain. There is no precipitation in the rest of the country. Wet snow sticking in some places, ice on the roads in some places. The wind is northeast, 7 — 12 m/s, in the central and southern regions gusts, 15 — 20 m/s. Night air temperature -4+1 degrees, daytime -2+3 degrees, in the Carpathians and Prykarpattia at night -5−10 degrees, during the day -2−7 degrees.

On Saturday, December 28, precipitation is not expected in most of the territory of Ukraine, light snow and sleet will occur only at night in Odesa region. Wind from the northern quarter, 5 — 10 m/s, gusty in the south. The night air temperature is -2−7 degrees, the daytime temperature is -3+2 degrees. In the Carpathians, it is -8-13 degrees at night, -3-8 degrees during the day.

On Sunday, December 29, light snow, sleet, and sometimes light ice are expected in most regions, except for the southeast and the Carpathians. Wind of variable directions, 3 — 8 m/s. The night air temperature is -4+1 degrees, the daytime temperature is -2+3 degrees.
