Former champion Carl Frampton spoke about Daniel Duboiswho challenged Oleksandr Usyk (23–0, 14 KOs) to a fight after the Ukrainian defeated Tyson Fury (34–2–1, 24 KOs) in a rematch.
“Dubois was in the ring, obviously trying to set up a fight, but it was a little disrespectful.
First, in relation to Tyson Fury. Secondly, to Oleksandr Usyk. Finally, thirdly, to Joseph Parker, with whom he is going to fight in February,” Frampton is quoted by the WalesOnline portal.
In 2023, Usyk already defeated Dubois by knockout, but the super heavyweight managed to win the IBF title in a match against Anthony Joshua after the defeat. On February 22, DuBois will meet with Parker, and only if he wins, a match against Usyk for the absolute is possible.
