As of the evening of December 24, 248 combat clashes were recorded at the front. Russian troops carry out most of their attacks in the Pokrovsky direction, where they suffer significant losses.

The occupiers launched one missile and 12 air strikes on the territory of Ukraine, dropping 29 guided air bombs.
In addition, the Russians used more than 640 kamikaze drones for strikes and carried out about four thousand attacks on Ukrainian positions and populated areas.
Kharkiv direction
The enemy unsuccessfully tried five times to storm the positions of the Armed Forces near Vovchansk and Visoka Yaruga. During the day, Ukrainian troops destroyed 45 occupiers, wounded 46, shot down 11 UAVs, and also destroyed three cars and three units of enemy special equipment.
Kupyan direction
The aggressor attacked in the areas of Petropavlivka, Kolesnikivka, Zagryzovy and Lozova. Defense forces stopped 15 attacks, eight more are ongoing.
Lyman direction
Russian troops attacked the defenders’ positions 25 times near Druzhelyubivka, Zeleny Gayu, Novoehorovka, Makiivka, Terniv, Torsky, and Hryhorivka. Four clashes are still ongoing.
Seversky direction
The military forces of the Ukrainian Armed Forces repelled one assault by the occupiers near Beilohorivka.
Kramatorsk direction
The enemy attacked the positions of the defenders near Chasovoy Yar and in the area of Stupochky. The Ukrainian military stopped seven attacks, two battles are still ongoing.
Toretsk direction
The enemy made 15 attempts to break through the defense near Toretsk, Druzhba, and Dachny. At this time there is a battle going on.
Pokrovsky direction
Since the beginning of the day, the enemy has attacked 54 times in the areas of Vozdvizhenka, Myrolyubivka, Lucha, Lisovka, Novy Trud, Dachensky, Shevchenko, Volkovo and Novovasylivka. 47 assaults were repulsed, seven more battles are ongoing.
Previously, 261 occupiers were liquidated today, 133 of them – irreversibly. A car and a communication antenna were also destroyed.
Kurakhiv direction
The occupiers made 34 breakthrough attempts near Petropavlivka, Shevchenko and Kurakhovo. 24 clashes have been completed, ten more battles are ongoing.
Time direction
Russian troops attacked 33 times near Uspenivka, Yantarny, Constantinople, Rozlyv, Rozdolny, Novy Komar, Novosilka, Velika Novosilka, and Storozhevy. The Armed Forces repulsed 22 assaults, the rest of the fighting is ongoing.
Dnieper direction
The occupiers twice tried to dislodge the Ukrainian forces from their positions, but suffered losses and retreated.
In addition, an operation is ongoing in the Kursk region, where the Defense Forces of Ukraine repelled 28 enemy attacks, and the fighting continues.
