As reported by Ukrinform, this was announced by Ukrposhta General Director Ihor Smilyanskyi in Telegram.

According to him, for the second year in a row Ukraine celebrates Christmas with the whole civilized world.

“And for the second year in a row, together with Metropolitan Epiphanius, we are continuing a new Christmas tradition – launching Christmas stamps of Ukrposhta on the eve of Christmas,” noted Smilyanskyi.

He said that last year the Christmas stamp was paid off in Assumption Cathedral, and this year – in Mykhailo Zolotoverkhi. And there are already plans for the next one.

“On the 23rd, Marka went with me to Donetsk region to support those who could not be with their relatives during the holidays. And this year I have plans, because I know – such things warm. We also added the Metropolitan to our community of philatelists, he highly appreciated the stamp and the tradition of launching it at Christmas,” noted Smilyanskyi and noted that “this is a real sign of quality!”.
