The meeting participants analyzed the results achieved this year and discussed plans for the next. In particular, the relevant ministers talked about the mechanisms of implementation of various services, employment and veteran policy.
According to the results of activities for the year, it can be noted that Ministry of Development of Communities and Territories monitored the accessibility of shelters – only 8.2% of them can be called barrier-free. Methodological recommendations have already been developed regarding the accessibility of the infrastructure of educational institutions for groups with reduced mobility and the creation and work of local barrier-free councils.
Ministry of Social Policy implemented the project “Improving the system of providing rehabilitation aids”, started the profession “Prosthetist-orthetist”, which can already be obtained in four vocational schools, and provided housing for 57 large foster families.
Ministry of Economy implemented the project “Work without barriers”, which provides, in particular, grants to entrepreneurs to create additional jobs. This year, it was possible to open six new centers of the School of Superheroes, where children can study during treatment or rehabilitation.
The construction of 73 shelters in the front-line and border areas is also underway.
In addition, it was possible to launch the “Point of Touch” project for people who lost their sight as a result of the war. This is a comprehensive free training that allows you to develop the skills you need in everyday life.
Ministry of Youth and Sports implements the project “Development of adaptive sports”. During this year, on the basis of the National University of Physical Education and Sports of Ukraine, 137 trainers were trained to work on physical culture and sports rehabilitation of disabled war veterans.
Ministry of Veterans Affairs leads the implementation of the “Sports Development for Veterans” project, and also talked about holding All-Ukrainian sports competitions within the framework of the preparation of the national team of Ukraine for participation in the “Invincible Games”.
Ministry of Internal Affairs implements the project “Driving school for people with disabilities”. Such schools are already available in Kyiv region, Lviv, Odesa, Kropyvnytskyi, Kamianets-Podilskyi and Kryvyi Rih. 104 people received driver’s licenses, of which 36 are military personnel.
In addition, the “Reboot: Rehabilitation” project was launched with a focus on training MIA employees who have lost their sight, and work has begun on the launch of the 112 system, which will unite all emergency services.

Ministry of Culture and Strategic Communications implements recommendations for authorities on how to provide people with information in a convenient form and in a convenient way.
Ministry of Digital Transformation implements the “Digital Education Program” project, within the framework of which the European standard for the accessibility of digital services was adopted.
