The winger of the London “Arsenal” Raheem Sterling ended up in the infirmary of the club. The footballer will be out of the team for several weeks.
Club doctors diagnosed the player with a knee injury after the match of the 17th round of the English Championship against Crystal Palace (5:1).
It is not known for sure how serious the injury is, but Rahim will undergo additional examinations in the near future.
“He needs additional tests tomorrow to understand the extent of the injury.
It’s a knee, and we have to wait 24 hours, but unfortunately he’s out for a while,” the club’s website says.
Sterling played 11 matches this season, in which he scored one goal and provided two assists.
