There was no one on board except four crew members. According to preliminary data, they were not injured.

During landing, the front strut of the plane broke. After the incident, the airport was temporarily closed and a state of emergency was declared there. Medics and the police also went there.

All incoming and outgoing flights have been cancelled. Some flights were also diverted from Belfast to other airports, including a British Airways flight from London City and an Aer Lingus flight from Leeds-Bradford Airport.
