On December 22, the final match of the Next Generation ATP Finals 2024 took place in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.

18-year-old Brazilian tennis player Joao Fonseca (ATP 145) lost in four sets Lerner Tien (USA, ATP 122) in 1 hour and 29 minutes.

Fonseca became the second youngest winner of the Youth Final at the age of 18 years and 3 months. Only Yannick Sinner was younger in 2019 (18 years and 2 months). In the entire history of the tournament, only three players under the age of 19 have won: Sinner, Fonseca and Carlos Alcaraz (2021 – 18 years and 6 months).
