OVA: two people died in Kherson due to an attack by a Russian FPV drone

Last night, Russian troops attacked Kherson. Two people were killed in the Dnipro district of the city as a result of an FPV drone strike, Oleksandr Prokudin, head of the regional military administration, said on December 22.

“The occupiers attacked a man born in 1975 from a drone. Unfortunately, he was fatally wounded,” the post reads.

Later, the head of the OVA wrote that it became known about another victim of the Russian strike in the Dnipro district.

“A residential building was destroyed and a fire broke out due to the attack of the Russian FPV drone. Rescuers discovered the body of a dead woman while sorting through the rubble. Currently, her identity is being established,” Prokudin said.

The Russian military regularly attacks Ukrainian regions with various types of weapons – attack UAVs, rockets, anti-aircraft missiles, and anti-aircraft missiles.

The leadership of Russia denies that the Russian army during a full-scale war inflicts targeted strikes on the civilian infrastructure of the cities and villages of Ukraine, killing the civilian population and destroying hospitals, schools, kindergartens, energy and water supply facilities.

Ukrainian authorities and international organizations qualify these strikes as war crimes committed by the Russian Federation and emphasize that they are targeted.
