On the night of December 22, the Russian army attacked Ukraine with attack drones. Debris fell on a multi-story residential building in Brovary, Kyiv region, local authorities reported.

“Around 00:45, as a result of an enemy UAV attack, the roof of one of the high-rise buildings in the city of Brovary caught fire. Rescuers quickly arrived at the scene. The fire was contained quickly. Residents of the building were evacuated,” wrote the mayor of Brovary Ihor Sapozhko.

There was no information about the victims.

At 1:30, KOVA announced that the fire on the roof of the high-rise building had been extinguished.

Earlier, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced that over the past week, Russian troops used more than 550 guided aerial bombs, almost 550 unmanned aerial vehicles and 20 missiles to attack Ukraine.

The Russian military regularly attacks Ukrainian regions with various types of weapons – attack UAVs, rockets, anti-aircraft missiles, and anti-aircraft missiles.

The leadership of Russia denies that the Russian army during a full-scale war inflicts targeted strikes on the civilian infrastructure of the cities and villages of Ukraine, killing the civilian population and destroying hospitals, schools, kindergartens, energy and water supply facilities.

Ukrainian authorities and international organizations qualify these strikes as war crimes committed by the Russian Federation and emphasize that they are targeted.
