In the evening of December 21, the Ukrainian boxer met for the second time in the ring in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia Alexander Usyk (22–0, 14 KO) and British Tyson Fury (34–1–1, 24 KOs). 
After the match, leading Ukrainian football clubs congratulated Alexander on his victory:
Shakhtar Donetsk put up a post with the caption: “Ukrainian strength and power! With victory, champion.”
In turn, Dynamo Kyiv remained a little less verbose, but also joined in the congratulations, writing: “OUR CHAMPION!!!”
It was a rematch for the title of world heavyweight champion in the WBC, WBA, WBO (and IBO) versions. Alexander Usyk managed to defend the titles, won the triumph by unanimous decision of the judges – 116-112, 116-112, 116-112.
