Details: Due to explosions of pyrotechnics, the shopping center “Fort” in the north-east of Moscow was evacuated, the explosion occurred in the multifunctional center for the provision of public services located there. One person was hospitalized: a woman tripped and fell during the evacuation, Mash reports.
In addition, MFC and shopping center in Korolev, post office in Khimki near Moscow were evacuated. As a result of the explosion, several windows were broken and the ceiling caught fire in the shopping center “Helios” in Korolev.
Three suspects were detained: in Moscow, Korolev and Khimki. In the first case, the pensioner allegedly set off a firecracker at the behest of people who cheated her of 120,000 rubles. In the second, the 64-year-old suspect allegedly tried to detonate pyrotechnics in the police station. In Khimki, the suspect is 70 years old.
On Saturday in St. Petersburg, two pensioners allegedly tried to set a police car on fire at the behest of phone scammers. They were detained. A criminal case has been opened about the terrorist attack, TASS reports.
In addition, the explosion occurred inside the branch of Sberbank in St. Petersburg: there, according to preliminary data, an improvised explosive device inside the ATM could explode. No casualties have been reported. “Mash na Moike” writes that a flammable liquid was poured into the ATM before the explosion. The publication published a video from a surveillance camera, the suspect is an elderly woman.
A similar case happened the night before in Krasnoyarsk, reports “Sibir.Realii”. There, the authorities said that the suspect in the ATM fire was a victim of telephone scammers.
According to the Baza Telegram channel, at least 13 different arsons – cars, fireworks, buildings – have occurred in the last two days in Russia.
