“Bill Burns visited Ukraine on his last visit as director of the CIA. We had many meetings with him during this war, and I am grateful for the help,” Zelenskyi said in Telegram.

He added that “usually such meetings are not reported publicly, and all our meetings – in Ukraine, in other European countries, in America, and in other parts of the world – took place without official notification.”

“But now, after the last visit, it’s worth saying openly. I wish you, Bill, and your family only the best! May luck support you,” added the President.

Zelensky noted that “we do not disclose secrets, but we maintain contact.”

“We will probably see each other again, and we will definitely see how this war will end with a real, reliable peace, for which we are working together,” the President summed up.
