As early as the eighth minute, Bologna had a great chance to open the scoring in the match, but Santiago Castro was unable to convert the penalty.
However, midway through the second half the visitors opened the scoring with an effort from Theiss Dallinga, and Tommaso Pobega doubled Bologna’s lead nine minutes later.
Bologna extended their unbeaten run to six matches in all competitions. After 16 games, Bologna have 28 points and are seventh in Serie A, while Torino have 19 points and 11 points.
