The Cabinet of Ministers appointed Acting head of the Institute of National Memory

The government has appointed a temporary acting head of the Institute of National Remembrance. Yulia Hnatiuk became her. This was announced by the permanent representative of the Cabinet of Ministers in the Verkhovna Rada, Taras Melnychuk, on his Telegram channel.

“Hnatiuk Yuliya Sergiivna is temporarily entrusted with the duties of the head of the Ukrainian Institute of National Remembrance,” he said.

Hnatiuk headed the Ukrainian Institute of National Remembrance in the last week after the five-year term of Anton Drobovych in this position expired.

Before that, Yulia Hnatiuk served as the first deputy head in May 2024. Before that, for more than two years, she was the chief accountant of the financial, accounting and technical support department of the Ukrainian Institute of National Memory in Kyiv.

On December 21, the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyi, reshuffled Ukrainian ambassadors. The corresponding decrees appeared on Saturday, December 21. In particular, nine diplomats were dismissed, including the president dismissed Serhii Kyslytsa from the post of Permanent Representative of Ukraine to the UN and the post of ambassador of the Commonwealth of the Bahamas and the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago.

Recently, the Government dismissed Anton Drobovych from the position of head of the Ukrainian Institute of National Remembrance.

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy dismissed Oleksandr Karasevich from the position of Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ukraine to the Netherlands.

Earlier, the Cabinet of Ministers dismissed Deputy Minister of Justice Olena Vysotska. Government officials also dismissed three state secretaries: Nataliya Zapolska from the Ministry of Strategy and Industry, Viktor Kantsurak from Minagro, and Dmytro Slobodianyuk from the Ministry of Health.

On November 5, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine dismissed Yuriy Dzhigyr from the post of Deputy Minister of Defense of Ukraine Rustem Umyerov.
