During the week from December 16 to 20, the National Bank of Ukraine sold 1 billion 417.6 million dollars on the interbank market, while buying 200 thousand dollars. This is known from NBU statistics. During the period from December 9 to 13, the National Bank sold $1,075.75 million, which is $342.1 million more than last week. It is also the highest indicator for the year. At the same time, the National Bank bought 200,000 dollars, which is 100,000 dollars less than last week. In total, since the beginning of the year, the National Bank sold 32.9 billion dollars, while it bought 126 million dollars. On October 2, 2023, the National Bank announced the transition from the fixed exchange rate regime. Starting from October 3, 2023, the official exchange rate of the dollar began to change – for the first time since July 2022.
