Sociedad central midfielder Martin Subimendi has revealed why he decided to turn down a transfer offer from Liverpool in the summer transfer window.
“Liverpool’s offer in the summer caught me by surprise, I was on vacation.
It was an uncomfortable time for me… But I weighed all the pros and cons and then came to the conclusion that the best option is to stay at Sociedad,” Subimendi told Diario Vasco.
This season, Martin Subimendi played 21 matches for Real Sociedad, scoring one goal and providing two assists.
It was previously reported that Manchester City is considering the option of signing the Sociedad defender in the winter transfer window.
